Preserve several tall spruce trees around the structure, leaving a deliberate clearing above the sorting deck. A modest footpath approaches through the trees; no roads or additional buildings. Materials and Colors: Use stripped spruce logs for the primary frame, dark oak for braces, and spruce planks for floors. Mossy cobblestone and andesite anchor the supports. Folded roofs combine oxidized cut copper with dark prismarine edging; pale birch panels and restrained amber glass brighten the archive walls. Key design characteristics: Each roof slopes inward toward a visible gutter, then extends outward into a long, thin canopy. Staggered roof edges create the leaflike profile using slabs and stairs. Small glazed slots illuminate the cabinets without turning the archive into a glass box.
